Hello Together

We are planning a 10 day trip with Northern Ireland and Ireland. I have the problem that I don't know if I have to fill out a form in Northern Ireland, as we are only there for 16 hours. In addition, we will be changing accommodation every day, how should the form be filled in correctly?

Many thanks for your tips

Hello Dominik,

It's great to hear that you are planning a trip to the island of Ireland.

Regarding your first query about filling out a Passenger Locator Form for Northern Ireland, it firstly depends where you are travelling from.

You must complete a Passenger Locator Form (even for a short trip) unless you are a visitor from within the Common Travel Area (United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands) and have not been outside the CTA in the last 10 days. If you would like to let me know your location, I can provide you with the most relevant information.

With regards to your second query, I would recommend that you email any further accommodation addresses to: passengerlocatorform@plf.ie and keep proof of the email you send.

I hope this information will be helpful to you.

Regards,
Eoin

Hello again, Dominik.

In that case, yes, you would need to fill out a Passenger Locator Form for both Northern Ireland and Ireland, indicating that you are fully vaccinated on them.

Don't hesitate to ask here should you have any other queries; our Community is always happy to help!

Regards,
Eoin

Hallo Eoin

Liebe Grüße
Cindy
