Hi there:

I am visiting the city of Howth next end of July with some Spanish friends and we want to walk through the cliffs, but at the same time we would like to spare some time to discover charming corners of the city. Can anybody tell me whether it is possible to visit St May Abbey together its cemetery? Does anybody know about the opening and closure times to do so?

Hi Alfredo,

So lovely to hear you'll be visiting this summer! 😊

You can absolutely visit St Mary's Abbey and its surroundings. Opening times are 8 am - 4 pm.

What else are you planning to visit during this trip?

También podemos comunicarnos en español si lo prefieres.

Un saludo,

Lucía☘️
