Hi Sheila,
Great news! The ban on alcohol on Good Friday
has been lifted, which means that many of the places that were traditionally
closed on Good Friday will now be open. Some organisations are already having events and activities involving pubs and restaurants for that day, so it will be a bit easier than it used to be to find a restaurant or pub that is open and there will be quite a few places that will have music on.
For activities on Good Friday during the day it depends a bit on what you enjoy doing, but as Good Friday is not a public holiday, many places will be open, such as the
National Wax Museum Plus, or
Dublin Zoo.
Will you be staying in the area or are you
visiting Dublin for the day?
Have a great day,
Cornelia
