In Derry there was the Spring Carnival parade where performers and dancers, walking through the historic streets, have brought some 'craic' (fun) into the Walled City.
After the parade, having an empty stomach, my friends and I headed to the food market at the Guildhall square.
There was a great range of freshly-prepared street food, from burgers, to pizza and delicious cakes, all made with local products.
The fish & chips was on the list of things to try! Mouth-watering, isn't it?
The party wasn't over yet, we needed to celebrate St Patrick's
Day with a pint. The choice went for the Guildhall Taphouse, a nice bar with a quirky decor and great live music. Slàinte!
