Plenty to see for the history & amp ; culture enthusiast in Clones ! Guided tours each Saturday at 11AM from the Ulster Canal Stores on the Cavan Road - taking in the Round Tower , Wee Abbey , Celtic Cross and much more .& nbsp ; The Ulster Canal Stores is open from 9AM , with onsite bistro serving breakfast , lunches and dinners . Full disabled access and ample car parking . Play park next door , and onsite Clones Lace Museum , all set in a beautifully restored cut stone heritage building next to the former Ulster Canal . Tourism Information available and signposting to Famine Graveyard and local sites of interest . Only half an hour from Cavan and 20 mins from Monaghan town .
