Amazing! 💚 Here are a few of my recommendations that deserve a spot on your must-visit list:
This is a hiker's paradise with trails for every level. The Slieve Donard offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and coastline. The Mourne Wall walk is another unique experience, with a mix of history and scenery.
Game of Thrones fans will recognize this tree-lined road, but even if you're not into the show, it's a magical spot. Go early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the crowds and soak in the atmosphere.
If you love nature and wildlife, Rathlin Island is a must. Take a ferry from Ballycastle to this peaceful island, known for its puffins (in season), seals, and cliffs. There’s also a lighthouse to explore and lovely walking trails.
One of the Glens of Antrim, Glenariff is often referred to as the “Queen of the Glens.” Its Waterfall Walkway is a scenic trail with cascades and plenty of spots to pause and take in the view.
This cliff-side walk is not for the faint-hearted but offers a great experience with its bridges, tunnels, and sheer drops to the sea. Be sure to book in advance as spaces can fill up quickly!
Another Game of Thrones hotspot, Castle Ward served as Winterfell in the show. Even if you’re not a fan, the estate is stunning, with trails, a beautiful lough, and fascinating history.
A heaven for birdwatchers, Strangford Lough is a tranquil spot perfect for kayaking, cycling, or simply enjoying the peaceful scenery. The lough also boasts plenty of historic sites, like Nendrum Monastic Site.
Bonus: Foodie Favorites!
