Estoy buscando una isla de Irlanda ni muy pequeña ni muy grande al suroeste de Irlanda ,donde hay una abadía, monasterio o similar  donde habitan  unos monjes hoy en día, no estoy buscando ninguna ruina, por favor si alguien sabe algo, me lo comunique, gracias.

I'm looking for an island in Ireland, not too small or too large, southwest of Ireland, where there is an abbey, monastery, or similar where monks live today. I'm not looking for any ruins. Please, if anyone knows anything, let me know. Thank you.

While islands with inhabited monasteries are less common nowadays, you may want to contact Glenstal Abbey. Although not on an island, Glenstal Abbey is an active Benedictine monastery in County Limerick, near the southwest, which is active and quite well known. 

Are you looking to locate an ancestor in particular? You may want to have a look at Roots Ireland's church records.
