Last August my 88 years old Father and me made a trip to Ireland. I have been to Ireland more than ten times, but for my father it was the first time. We visited my friend in Arklow and then we went to the west. We were driving along Ring of Kerry when we had tea at the Beach Cove Café in Waterville. We continued our trip and were already 80 km away, when we found out, my father had forgotten his bag in the café. Unfortunately the bag containing my fathers passport, 100 Pounds Sterling and ferry tickets wasn´t there anymore.
But then...:
the waitress (thousand thanks to Joanna again!) went into every shop in the town asking if someone found the bag, she even comes with us to our car, to see if we just didn´t find the bag in our panic. But no success. So we decided to go back to my friend in Arklow. Over there, my friend went to Arklow police station with us. The officer made some phone calls and finally he told us the bag was found and is now located at a police station near to the Ring of Kerry. The policeman told us, they will sent the bag by courier to Arklow. Two days later the bag arrived at my friends home. Everything was still in it. It was so amazing and I would like to thank the anonyme finder, Joanna from the café and the Irish police for this unbelievable experience again!
