All-Ireland Senior Hurling, Camogie and Football Championships

Watching GAA is one of the best ways to understand Irish culture, and 2026 offers a full calendar of action. The mens National League in football and hurling begins in January and runs to March, followed by provincial stages and the All-Ireland series through July.

The 95th National Ploughing Championships will be held in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, from 1517 September 2026. This major agricultural event features competitions, demonstrations, and food stands, drawing large crowds each year.

Galway Races Summer Festival27 July to 2 August
