Good morning,
I was very fortunate to have had the priveladge to see Ireland for a month back in July. I was there to see if I could find ancestors. Still workinh on that. I was in Southern, and Northern Ireland, It was truly the best journey I ever did all on my own with just a back pack and true exploring. I was truly taken from all the wonderful people that live there and how nice and friendly everyone was to me. I had people stopping to pick me up on the side of the road, or when I asked for directions they would say hop in I will take you.My qiestion is I have Irish background in me as my great great grandfather and my grandma came from. They lived in Banbridge. How would I go about seeing if I can move to Ireland,I thought I would try this forum first to get some ideas than get in touvh with the consilate,Would I have a hard time getting in and finding employment. Would it be a good idea that i look into a work visa for 6 mths and than still come back to Canada.Any help or information on this would be wonderful. I do have a trade as a hairystlist and a letter carrier for the maill, and also worked in the animal shelter.Have a great day to all of my fellow Irish that have the best place in the country to live.
