Hello, Ann.

It's so great to see you here on the Community, all the way from the Irish Family History Facebook page!  Hopefully, the provided genealogical resources helped a little bit.

I would also like to invite you to check out one of our experts Three-step Guide to Tracing your Irish Ancestors.  It appears that you have quite a bit of information to work with, which is very helpful.  I am sure that other members here on the Community can offer some more ideas and suggestions of their own which will help you along the way with your search.

I'm very eager to find out more about your findings, so be sure to keep us in the loop - we love hearing about such discoveries here on the Community, as we have had some great successes before!

All the very best,

Colin

Hi Ann,

You are looking for the Hunt family in Waterford City and the area / parish is Ballytruckle located in the city.

I have done some initial searches but really you would need more information and also, some of the information is protected by law.

There are several Hunt families still there and a Martin died recently fitting the time line of births in the family.

Does Catherine recall her sister's husband's first name? Does she have any other clues?

Not sure I've helped, but there are Hunt's in the same area still today.

Best of luck
Ginger
