dog friendly accomodation please

Hi, we are coming to Ireland for a couple of weeks over Christmas and New Year. We'll be staying with friends in Dublin for most of the time but are also hoping to spend a few days in County Kerry. Can anyone recommend a hotel /B & B/ guesthouse that is dog friendly. Many thanks.

Thanks for your info. We've decided that unfortunately we don't really have the time on this trip to get to Kerry and have the time to enjoy it. I'll keep your info until next time.

On this trip as well as our stay with our mate in Dublin we are having a few nights at the Salty Dog in Bangor which I'm told is very dog friendly. I'll let you know how we find it.

That's understandable - it's probably best to experience what you can in the time that you have so that things don't seem rushed.

Although it's great to hear that the additional information will prove useful for a possible trip in the future - you're already thinking ahead!

I'm also pleased to hear that you've had another dog-friendly recommendation, it would be great to hear more about that upon your return.  Will your friend be acting as your very own personal tour guide whilst spending some time in Dublin?  I am sure that they have some excellent suggestions of their own to recommend to you too!
