Hi Mike,
Welcome to our community, and it's great that you'll be doing the Ring of Kerry in May. It's a lovely time of year to be visiting.

Don't worry about your motorhome; coaches and tour buses travel the Ring of Kerry easily and safely every day, so as long as you relax and take in the views you'll be fine. The buses drive in an anti-clockwise direction around the ring of Kerry and I'd certainly advise you to follow the same direction to avoid meeting them head on and having to duck into passing bays. We also have it on very good authority that the views are better if you travel anti-clockwise! ;)

There are some great places to visit along the way too, and we have a few tips and ideas for inspiration or just some pre-trip fun.

All the best,
Cornelia

Hi Mike,  Delighted to see that you will be visiting us in your motorhome. Ireland is an ideal location for travelling in your motorhome.  There are over 160 registered/approved caravan & camping parks on the Island of Ireland.  These have been inspected and graded accordingly.  We produce the Ireland 2018 Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Guide which features over 90 of these sites.  You can order a copy through our website www.campingireland.ie  Plenty of motorhomes travel the Ring of Kerry daily without any difficulty.  You will have no problems.  There are also some great viewing spots on the route where you can pull in to take pictures, etc.
I hope you read this message today as Irish Ferries have an offer at the moment for bringing a motorhome to Ireland for the price of a car.  HOWEVER, it has to be booked by close of business today.  The following are the details:-
Book from 18th January to 5th March
Travel until 31st December 2018
Motorhomes up to 12m long travels for the same price as a car
Cruise ferries Pembroke - Rosslare/ Holyhead - Dublin (Not valid on Swift Ferr)
Bookings via Irish Ferries Contact Centre Tel. 08717 300 400 quoting promotion code ICCC

Looking forward to welcoming you to Ireland
