I am not sure if they are called towns over there but I am trying to compile a bunch of different places to see when the wife and I go in the fall. We will be going in late September/early October. No date set as we are still planning everything. She is very big on homely areas, small towns, little villages. Any suggestions?

Hi James,
I also suggest visiting the best place to live in Ireland: Westport. :)

Hope this helps!

Hi James! I would definitely nominate Dunfanaghy for your list! It's in Donegal and sits right on the Ocean. The village itself is charming and has lovely little shops and pubs along the main street but the views are spectacular. There are beaches and cliffs and a really amazing little drive that takes you up to Horn Head, where you'll feel like you're on top of the world. Highly recommend.  :)

How are your plans coming along, James? :) Is there anything else you need to plan your trip?

Warm regards,

Melin
