Hello!
My friend who made a reservation for Aran Islands camping was informed that we should bring our own tent. Can anyone kindly share an information where we can rent a tent, please? Aran Camping does not provide it as we were told.
Thank you!

Hi Hanny,

It's so exciting that you're planning on going camping on the Aran Islands! :) How many days are you planning on staying there?

We don't have any companies listed on our website that are specialised in renting out camping gear and supplies, but you can try getting in touch with Adventure.ie in County Wicklow. They have a courier service available, so they will be able to deliver a tent and supplies to your location.

If you would like to buy your own tent instead, take a look at the available retailers on the official Camping Ireland page. You can also get in touch directly with Camping Ireland for more information.

Please feel free to get in touch if you need anything else or if you have any questions!

Wishing you a great day,

Melin

If you are only camping for a night or two and don't want to buy or rent equipment. There are camping pods on Inishmore. They are located beside the campsite as far as I know. https://www.irelandglamping.ie/
The pods look like great fun, I'm definitely staying there next time I go!

Hi there,
We're with Sandra on this one, and would highly recommend Aran Island Glamping.  You just never can tell with Irish summer weather if it will be a heatwave or a mudslide....  so if I were you, I would give the pods a go and get the best of both worlds!
We can take you to the island at 10am and 1pm directly, and also at 11am with a stop at Inis Oirr and a chance to visit this island also before transferring to Inis Mor at 1.45.  If you need any more information on your ferry crossing, please let us know.
Hope this helps you make a decision - enjoy your stay on the paradise islands

Hi Hanny, As others have pointed out Aran Island Glamping have Pods to rent.  None of the sites in Ireland have tents to rent so you always have to supply your own.  There are a number of companies that sell tents online and deliver.  If this is something you are interested in check out Charles Camping or O'Meara Camping.  You will find details on our website www.campingireland.ie  This would allow you then to stay on other campsites around Ireland.  We have over 90 member sites and again you will find details on them on our website.
Hope you have a fabulous camping trip.

Regards
Aideen - Camping Ireland
