I was wondering if stores are open in Ireland on St. Stephen's Day. I have clients who want to visit Adare village that day and would like to know if the shops will be open. Thank you

Hi Michelel,

Visiting Ireland during the holidays is such a beautiful experience.

Adare is a lovely area, with its castles, friaries, and churches - along with the breathtaking scenery in the Celtic Park and Gardens. Because Christmas is such a family holiday here, while the shops in big cities are open on St. Stephens Day, in most smaller towns, folks spend their time at home that day.

With so much to explore, your clients may very much enjoy touring Adare and other locations in County Limerick - we just suggest they stock up on supplies for the day as most stores will be closed.

To our community members in the Adare area, please do feel free to share your input and suggestions.

If we can help with anything else, just give us a wave, Michelel!
