Hi Folks,
We're returning this week (departing Seattle on Thursday) for our 6th trip to Eire, and our 4th St. Patrick's Day.  We'll be on the Inishowen Peninsula from 17th to 20th (Falcarragh the two days prior) and looking for some fun festivities that may be occurring. Anyone have anything extra fun that they are aware of in that area?

Interestingly enough, we've always somehow managed to be in a rather large city during this period, so it was fairly easy to partake, but we're unsure about this area's festivities.
Any assistance would be grand.
Thanks very much!

Hi Larry,

The Inishowen Peninsula is a wonderful place to visit at any time of the year!

There will be plenty of towns and villages around the peninsula such as Buncrana, Moville and Carndonagh which will be having parades on Sunday. For further information, please have a look at this list.
Also, it's worth mentioning what's on Derry~Londonderry, where there is plenty of excitement with the Spring Carnival in full swing and a St Patrick's Parade planned for the city.

How long will you be over with us during this your 6th trip?

I hope this gives you some inspiration, and I'm sure your fellow members and some industry partners will be able to add to this list!

Speak soon,

Martin

Martin - we'll be over from the 7th until the 23rd.  Flying into Dublin, visiting friends in Kilkenny, then off to the Northwest with stops in Westport, Strandhill, Bundoran, Glencolmcille, Falcarragh, and Inishowen, before returning to Dublin to see friends and fly out.

Donegal has our heart as you can see. <3

Thanks again for the assistance, folks.  Can't wait for that first pint and hot whiskey!
