Hi Kristi,
Great that you'll be visiting Ireland this summer, 15 days is a lovely period of time to have to do some exploring and travelling around.
Will you be
renting a car or would you like to do most of your travelling
by train and bus?
Our
Trip Ideas Hub is a good place to start to get an idea of what type of tour you would like to take, and where you would like to go. It offers itineraries with travel times and places to stay along the way and you can connect two or three shorter itineraries for your 15 day trip.
Ireland's trains take you along the wonderful countryside and we have picked out
five of the best to give you an idea of what you can see when you get on a train in Ireland. As you start and end in Dublin, why not take the short ride on the
DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) through amazing views to a great day out on the coast.
As you say you want to travel to Northern Ireland first, why not take a trip
on the train to Belfast, it will take you along some great countryside and in Belfast you will be very well stationed for trips along the
Causeway Coastal Route.
There are many opportunities to play
golf in Ireland and you can stop off along the way as you tour to take in a few greens and courses. Our
accommodation search engine can help you find specialised accommodation which includes golf, but also find you
great castles to stay in. The map view will help you see where the accommodation is in relation to the places you would like to see and visit.
Will this be your first visit to our green isle?
Warm regards,
Cornelia
