Marta ☘️

I'm sorry I am not able to speak, is it Spanish? Your photos are breathtaking! Thank you for sharing. Regrettably, we'll not be hiking Skellig. I am too fearful of the twists and turns. We will take the boat ride, however. Am very excited about that. When you were there, were there many hikers taking to the trails?

Hi Robin,

Thanks for your kind words! I'm glad you like the pictures, the views are amazing, you will love them too.

The post it's indeed in Spanish but you can use the translation tool at the top of the page and it will be automatically translated for you.

Skellig Michael is a Special Protection Area, as it is one of Ireland’s most important sites for breeding seabirds, so the access is closely controlled and only a reduced group of people can visit the island every day.

Once your boat ride is close to the island, pay attention to the water and you will start to see some lovely puffins fishing around you, don't forget your camera! We will love to see your pictures and hear more about your experience.

Marta
