🌊Let's go on a voyage along the Irish Coast! 🌊

I always thought that pictures have the power of making us travel when we physically can't, so what about we all share some photos of our favorite spots along the coast?

Do not hesitate to drop some tips along the way too! 😃

For me, I could not choose between those two:
Black Mountain in Belfast - easy walk even with a pram and a breathtaking view of Belfast and even the Mourne mountains on a clear day. Be aware of the cows and horses that share the paths with you. 🐮🐴

Had to share this hidden Gem, a fantastic beach accessible via over 160 steps, Silver Strand Beach - (An Trá Bhán) in Malin Beg Donegal. Tranquility and peace are worth the exercise! 🏖️

Ballyheigue, Co Kerry. Long, wide deserted beach, wild Atlantic ocean waves, surrounded by the stunning Maharees mountains and rolling farmland. The closest you get to heaven on earth. So peaceful!

The Gobbins is an absolute must for me!

I can never get enough of the sea and cliffs.  🌊 🌊🌊
It's so exhilarating to walk through The Aquarium and The Tubular Bridge!

Anch'io, come Elodie, sono indecisa! 😃

I am so fortunate to live in the Causeway Coast and Glens area, where there are so many beautiful beaches and stunning cliffs right on my doorstep.  Yet, if I had to pick a favourite place it would probably be White Park Bay beach.

You can approach it from either end as the Causeway Coast Way (walking route) runs along it.  If you are driving the Causeway Coastal Route you can either park about half way down the cliff and walk down to the beach, or if you are pushed for time, you can park in a small car-park just above White Park Bay and drink in the view - like I did when I took this photograph. Looking the other way you can see Rathlin Island beyond the end of the beach. On a clear day you can see across to Islay and  Jura in Scotland.

Enjoy!

What a wonderful question!

Personally, I can't sing the praises of the Donegal beaches enough and it's so very hard to pick just one part of their coast. So, if you don't mind terribly, I think I might just list two of my absolute favourites. Both are in Donegal, but just on very different sides of the Donegal coast.

The first is Malin Beg, and it's nearly impossible for me to put it into words. The curved beach of the makes it feel like its own little world, with just a brilliant blue sea and calming waves. One part of this beach that steals my breath every time is how the waves roll in, each a perfect ring.

Next is very different. it's Rosapenna, which is about two hours north of Malin Beg. Unlike the sheltered beach above, this coast is open and looks nearly endless. It's such a pleasure to just walk along the sand and see the mountains in the distance. It's an absolute experience, even.
