Can you please suggest a stay with two dogs. Taking the ferry and starting in the south doing a circuit and possibly basing ourselves for 5 days in a couple of areas. Thank you for any advice

It's lovely to hear that you are planning a trip over to see us with your dogs!

There is some general information on bringing your pets to Ireland that may be of interest on our main website, please feel free to have a look and make sure you are all up to date.

We also have some existing threads on Pet-friendly information, there are lots of useful information among the many posts that might be of help too.

B&B Ireland has a specific theme-holiday section for Pet-friendly Homes that is always a good place to look, have you decided on the locations you would love to visit and stay during your touring circuit?

Hi Trisha,

Great to hear that you are planning a visit to Ireland with your dogs!

Would you consider venturing north to explore part of Northern Ireland?  The A2 heading north from Belfast is known as the Causeway Coastal Route.  The well signposted road follows the stunning coastline of the North Antrim coast.  It is studded with gems such as historic castles, quaint harbours, glens, golden sandy beaches, unique geology and friendly towns and villages.

There are various pet friendly establishments as well as pet friendly accommodation throughout the Causeway Coast and Glens should you decide to visit.

If you require any further information, please take a look at our website:

I wish you an enjoyable trip!
Alison
