Hello.
I am thinking of heading home to Ireland with all my family at end of July for two weeks (first two weeks approx of August). We live in Spain, but we will be flying to Dublin and then residing in family home in Wexford.
What are the possibilities of being confined for two weeks at that stage?

Hi Sarah, welcome to Community!

Sorry for the delay on our reply, our servers got a bit mixed up.

Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty these days, we can't be sure about the quarantine being lifted in time for your trip, as it is reviewed every 2 weeks.

Also, bear in mind that at the moment, the use of public transport or taxis to reach your destination is not permitted in the Republic of Ireland, so you will need to rent a car or ask a family member to pick you up at the airport.

If you want to be up to date with all the news, we recommend you to check regularly our Health Page and other official government sites with information about self isolation and the road map for reopening in the Republic.

If you have any more questions please, share them with us, Community is here to help!

Regards,

Marta ☘️
