I have been to Ireland several times and have driven each time.  However, I cannot relax while driving.  I wonder if I would visit again, is there a service that provides a driver for my rental car?  Or is there a better way?

Hi Kathleen,

Not to worry, there's no shortage of unique ways to enjoy Ireland! If you find that driving just doesn't suit you, there are certainly other options to make your trip easier and more enjoyable.

Ireland had a robust public transport system, with both coach buses and rails spanning the country. While it's not a personal driver, either option would be perfect for long-distance travel. In fact, a ride on a train is comfortable, charming, and an absolutely wonderful way to enjoy Ireland's scenery. If you'd prefer to travel by coach, there are travel cards which make planning a trip simple.

Another option might be a guided tour. This is when you sign up for a tour group to escort you to different locations in and around Ireland. The size of the group may differ, depending on the tour.

Do any of these options appeal to you?

Please let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help more!

~Rochelle
