Initially postponed from March until September, this two-part concert filmed in Newry and Warrenpoint Town Halls is taking a leap into the virtual world and Visit Mourne is delighted that it can bring this wealth of talent to people’s homes through social media.
Featuring local artists Matt McGinn and Joanne Quigley McParland alongside local talent and national and internationally acclaimed musicians, the exciting line-up will include show stopping music, song, and dance performances from the traditional and classical canons.
This landmark virtual ‘St Patrick’s Miscellany’ concert will be compered by Newry native and BBC Radio Ulster presenter, John Toal who will leave his own indelible mark upon proceedings; not only hosting and offering a warm Newry welcome to all but reciting one of his own written pieces. Watch both concerts on the Visit Mourne facebook page on Saturday 14th at 8pm & Sunday 15th at 8pm. Or on the Visit Mourne Youtube channel on Saturday 14th at 8.15pm & Sunday 15th at 8.15pm.
