For my own part, I would recommend a tour of
Croke Park, the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association and the third-largest stadium in Europe. The Skyline Croke Park tour offers incredible views of Dublin and of the pitch below.
As you mentioned, places like Howth and Malahide are easy to reach from the centre of Dublin and make for great days-out. Further afield, the
Ring of Kerry is a stunning 179km-long, circular route around the Iveragh Peninsula that is hugely popular with visitors.
