I recommend Kilkea Castle for a magical stay in South Kildare. Dine in the 12th century Great Hall and wander the lush well-coiffed gardens. If golf is your game, Kilkea Castle has got you covered. There are also a variety of fun things to do near Kilkea Castle including the Shackleton Museum in Athy Heritage Centre and Altamont Gardens. You might even be lucky enough to spot a smiling donkey at Burtown House and Gardens! Looking forward to the day when Ireland is open for businessa gain, hopefully sooner rather than later! This made me add Kilkea Castle to my bucket list. The fine dining pictures in your blog also look amazing. If that is how the food looked, I can't even being to imagine how good it tasted. 😋
