I’ve just published a book (my first book!) about Ireland (in German language) under my pseudonym Waltraud Batz.
It is a novel about Hannah, an ambitious rider, who was persuaded by her friend to travel to Ireland for riding holidays which turn out to be different than expected.
There are horses in the book, a dog and a lot of Irish stuff as well. :) Some plot points and experiences in the book I did experience by myself on my riding holiday 2011 to Sligo. But all People, horses and locations in the book are fictional.
The novel is also a bit funny and although it contains a love story I tried to keep the Kitsch level as low as possible. People like it so far or maybe they are just polite, I don’t know, haha.

Currently I am working on my second book which I plan to publish in October or November, this will take place in England though.
