Back to my roots, renewing our vows

Hi,

I'm looking for a little advice here.

My wife is determined that she wants to renew our vows.  God alone knows why.  After 30 years I'd have thought she'd be looking for an escape pass, but to each their own.  Although the hills overlooking Ibiza might have an attraction, I'm English born and bred, but my paternal grandparents both came from county Cork and my paternal grandmother from Skibbereen specifically . I feel a natural pull from my roots for something as significant as a reaffirmation to the next stage of our lives together, so I'd welcome location advice and suggestions for an intimate event such as this.

It's good to hear that you and your wife are planning to renew your wedding vows in Ireland. I'm sure that it will be a wonderful occasion.
