Marta. ☘️

Hello Marta and, to the rest of the readers,
First of all, thank you very much for the space created. It is very useful.

Following the question, in my case, I would also like to know if, indeed, on July 19 it will be allowed to travel from Spain to Ireland with the EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC), without having to complete a quarantine period once arrived in the country . I have read through the official page of “gov.ie” that the intention is to articulate the entry with the DCC, however, it says that the regulations will depend on the sanitary measures of the country at that time. I am concerned to know if the decision is official or not, since it would condition the possibilities of being able or not to organize our trip.

In our case, the forecast is to be able to travel from July 19 to 25. Considering that we only have one week to visit Ireland, any important tips and information to consider would be helpful.

I await your reply,
Thank you very much in advance.

Greetings!

Hello Laura,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the Community!

The information on the Irish Government's website (gov.ie) is indeed the most reliable source of information that you can check for the latest updates on travel restrictions to the island.

According to the latest news, on July the 19th, passengers should be able to travel to Ireland with the DCC (Digital Covid Certificate) without quarantine, however, the situation is evolving periodically, so the best thing to do to stay up to date with all the changes is to check the official resources and our article about traveler's health.

We know that it's not easy to organize a trip given the nature of the situation, but we hope to be able to give you a warm welcome soon!

Greetings,

Valentina
