Hello, I would like to know, if someone from Italy went to Ireland with the restrictions of Covid 19.
Do you
necessarily need to have been vaccinated? Or just a negative swab? And above all, once you get there in Ireland do you still have to do a 15-day quarantine? Thanks if you answer

Ciao Alessia.

Since yesterday, has been introduced the EU Digital Covid Certificate (DCC) that is a proof that you have either:
- been vaccinated against COVID-19 or
- received a negative COVID-19 test result or
- recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months;

Before arriving into the Republic of Ireland, you must complete a Passenger Locator Form. On the form, you will indicate which of the above documents you are travelling with. Your Passenger Locator Form will be checked prior to departure on your journey to Ireland by your carrier and you may be asked to provide the certificate indicated on your form.

Please visit our traveller health page for all the details. You can keep on top of the current situation and recent changes by following helpful links to the governments’ guidelines.

Talking about your trip: what have you planned to see and do so far on the Emerald Isle?

Puoi rispondermi anche in italiano se ti è più comodo. ;)
