Hello,

Does anyone please know what is needed to fly to Ireland? 90% of official sites are saying from the UK to Dublin we just need our NHS covid pass, but the odd one suggests we also need a PCR. We fly tomorrow so cannot get a PCR now but have our Covid pass, is this all that is required?

Kind regards,

Francesca

Hi Francesca,

It's good to hear that you are planning a trip to Ireland.

As of right now, it is sufficient to have your NHS COVID Pass to enter Ireland. You will also have to fill out a Passenger Locator Form before departure.

Provided that the 'emergency brake' has not been applied for travel from Great Britain, then fully vaccinated persons arriving in Ireland are not required to home-quarantine nor provide negative RT-PCR test results. Only in that circumstance would the requirements change; more detail can be found on the Irish Government website.

I hope this information is helpful to you. To stay up to date with the latest COVID news, check out the Traveller Health page here.

Regards,
Eoin
