Hello do you have any details for a tour around Ireland in our motorhome? Best places to go and places we can park up for a night with scenic views, coastal and inland? We plan to travel next year 2022 around April please.
Many thanks

Hi Jennifer,

It's great to hear you are planning a trip to Ireland in your motorhome!

The All Around Ireland trip takes you around the island, with visits to the cities, some amazing natural places, and historical spots. Here you will be able to find camping sites and legal stopovers all over the island, where you will be able to spend the night.

Another popular spot to visit with motorhomes is the Wild Atlantic Way, you can also get ideas from this itinerary that you could add to your trip. Or, just do this one if you have less time.

I hope this is useful,

David

Hello Jennifer,

The Causeway Coast and Glens, situated in the very north of the island, is an excellent place to visit as it offers such a wide variety of scenery, activities and places to explore.  In the coastal towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Ballycastle you  have a choice of sites that welcome both motorhomes and touring caravans. If you fancy a stay on the beach there are sites at Benone where you can walk out of the front door of your motorhome onto miles of golden sand. Parks in Bushmills and Ballymoney offer pitches that are nestled in the heart of the countryside.  There are some excellent attractions in the area including The Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, the Bushmills Distillery, Mussenden Temple and the Dark Hedges.  To find out more please visit our web site:  https://www.visitcausewaycoastandglens.com

In the previous message, David mentioned about the possibility of travelling the Wild Atlantic Way when you are in Ireland.  Just to let you know that you can connect from it to the Causeway Coastal Route at Derry/Londonderry to continue your trip into Northern Ireland.

Enjoy planning your holiday!
Anne
