Hi
two fully vaccinated passengers from the USA planning to travel to Ireland a week from now.   We are mainly staying with family, but what are the rules on getting into restaurants, museums, government offices, etc?   Is the CDC vaccination card good enough?   Is there a local pass that makes it quicker?   France has a health pass where one uploads documents and they send a QR code.   Anything like that?
Thanks

Hi there, Joe!

It's great to hear that you are visiting our Emerald Isle very soon! What plans do you have for your trip so far? 😊

A CDC vaccination card is most definitely accepted as proof of vaccination, as stated on the DFA website. With proof of vaccination, travelers will be able to avail of indoor hospitality without any problems and you can find out more about this on our website! It's also important to note that both of you will have to complete a Passenger Locator Form before arrival into Ireland.

I hope that you both have a safe flight and a great time here on our island. 💚

Please do reach out again should you need any help or inspiration when planning things to do in Ireland!

Best,
Aimee
