Greetings, We are planning to spend a week in Ireland the end of August 2022 and looking for suggestions on how to do it.
How would you suggest we travel, where would you suggest we go/ by car or bus? Where would you suggest we stay? What sort of costs could we expect for meals, accommodation ,fees for venues etc.
Is there a route you could suggest to follow for the week?
Thank you.

Hi William,

It's wonderful to hear that you are sorting out your plans to come and visit us here on the island of Ireland next year!

Public transport is readily available, Transport for Ireland has a handy travel planner option that you can use to work out if this is a good option for where you wish to visit. If you like to visit places a little more remote and off the usual routes then a car rental is the way to go for added flexibility.

Regarding accommodation, food, and attractions, these will vary depending on your own budget. B&B's, Hotels and Castle stay can be found using our accommodation page, where do you want to stay section, which has filters to find the perfect place and location as you travel.
So where to visit! There are plenty of cool trip ideas depending on what it is you are most interested in seeing and doing. One that may be of interest is the All around Ireland 12 day tour, slightly longer than you have with us but has plenty of places picked out that you can customize to fit.

Is there anything in particular that you have in mind as must-see attractions or things to try while here with us?
