Accommodation for unvaccinated person

Hello,
I am aware that restaurants are limited to those who are fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19.

What about hotels? My travel companion is unvaccinated. She will, of course, have a valid PCR test when entering Ireland. Will she be permitted to stay at a hotel?

Thanks for getting in touch! 

As long, as your travel companion has a negative PCR-Test, she should be able to stay in hotels without a problem. However, we would advise getting in direct contact with the booked accommodations to be on the safe side. Some hotels have re-opened their restaurants where guests are welcome to dine in, please also double-check with the hotel.

I will probably spend most of my time on the Kerry Way and/or the Killarney National Park.
