Hi there, are you accepting vaccination proof from Canada at the moment? (EU approved pfiizer jab). I wanted to know if that was deemed equivalent to the EU one and whether or not we would require quarantine upon arrival.

Thanks

Hello Yiyu,

Thank you for the question!

At this time, Canadian guests who are fully vaccinated will not need a pre-departure PCR test, a day 5 PCR test, or a period of quarantine. You will need to have proof of your vaccination through a provincial health unit record. For more information, this article from the Department of Foreign Affairs may be able to help.

As for which vaccines you've received, you are considered fully vaccinated seven days after two doses of Pfizer-BioNtech Vaccine. If you do have any questions, I would recommend contacting your local Irish embassy for more targeted advice.

I hope this helps!

Kindly,
Rochelle
