Hi, 20 years ago, I did a trip across Ireland. Now I do have a bunch a photograph, but for some I am not able to find the correct place where they have been taken. Some can recognize those places? It is for sure between Inch beach and the Cliff of Moher Thanks for help Michel

Hi Michel,
Thanks for taking the time to post your questions about a couple of places that you visited some 20 years ago!
The first one is of Ballyseede Hotel in County Kerry, a lovely place to stay.
The second is from the N67 just outside of Ballyvaughan, County Clare, clearly a road that leads to many places of interest. 😉
We hope this helps with your rediscovery of your time with us.
Martin

Hi Michel,
That's a tricky one! It's a chapel, but I'm not sure where exactly it is in Connemara. Do you recall what you were doing or where you were heading on this trip? There is a flag at the entrance, do you happen to remember what it was for?
Perhaps some of our other community members will be able to help you to identify this location also.
Regards, Eoin

Hi Eoin, to be precise, it is quite impossible to give some more details, I was traveling between Clifden and Kylemore Abbey, which is sure, but not necessarily via the shortest way. I just stopped here to get this picture but didn't enter the church and didn't see what was on the flag.

Hi Michel,
Even with this extra information, it has proven to elude us still!
We will keep looking and if any of our members find it, we will all know the answer! 📷

Hi Michel, It's definitely a tricky one! We've called on our helpful Twitter community in the hopes that somebody recognizes the location. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Hello Michel, We hope you are well! It has been a while since you posted your request for help finding the location of the chapel in the last photo. So, it was during a little break on a holiday of my own in Connemara, that I happened upon the very church during a drive. The location is a village called Finny on the R300 and the building is the Church of the Immaculate Conception. As I headed towards it, I recognised the bell tower from a distance and started to smile. Hopefully, this will put your mind at rest now. 😉 Martin

Hi Martin, woow, that is wonderful, thanks a lot. At the opposite of what you said, my brain is not going to rest now, but going to make this trip once again, even in a virtual way. But that is so pleasant. Have a nice day Michel
