We are looking for ideas on where to take our 3 & 6 year olds to go searching for ferries and leprechauns, are there any tours or must see sites we can go around Ireland?!

Thanks!

How nice that you are looking for activities for your kids, Shawn!

A place I would recommend is Knockma Hill in Galway! It is a great location for a scenic walk and is believed to be where Finvarra, the King of the Connacht fairies would hold his court.

Another option would be the Leprechaun and Fairy Cavern in Carlingford, which is great for children. It is believed to be the place where Leprechauns were last seen!

Do you already have an itinerary in mind for your family trip? This quiz about the myths and legends of Ireland might also be of interest.

Cheers,
Antoine
