Looking for advice on a fishing adventure for one person, avid fly fisherman from Canada. Not having much luck finding options, companies that will take one-two persons. Plan to be in Dublin, Nenagh, Galway. Still planning trip as a surprise 40th.

Hello Kristin,

It's great that you are planning a fishing adventure for your special someone and I would love to help you further!

Usually, it is best to go with a fishing guide if you want to fish alone. You can find many guides in different regions of the island on the Angling Ireland website. They have a useful directory with the contact information of fishing guides all over the island, such as Tipperary, Galway and Dublin.

I hope this helps and that it will be a nice surprise! Please keep us updated. 😊

Cheers,
Antoine
