We are planning a trip around Ireland for August - September 2022. Therefore we need to rent a car for 11 days/ 4 pax.
All offers we have seen on internet are extremely expensive.
Has anybody got a good idea?

Hi Connie,

It's good to hear that you are planning a trip to Ireland later this year, though I am very sorry to hear about your issue with car rental costs.

This appears to be a problem in most destinations, as car hire companies begin to update their fleets after the devastation caused by the pandemic over the past two years and also deal with other inflationary issues affecting their costs. While resolving this issue is beyond our control, we will certainly bring your complaint to the attention of the Car Rental Council of Ireland.

Depending on where you are flying to in Ireland, you may be able to find some cheaper options outside of Dublin Airport. You can learn more about renting a car in Ireland on our website.

Regards,
Eoin
