Do I need a PPS number to pay motor tax?

Anonymous New Member Group: [0] Last Active: - Visits: 0	Hi! I'm over from Australia for an extended stay. I've bought a second hand van and need to pay the Motor Tax soon. Have changed ownership details in the log book, just got the insurance and now ready to pay the Motor Tax. I was told I need a PPS number to pay it but the forms available on line don't ask for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Theresa

I understand your concerns - If you are now the owner and have the vehicle insured you can pay for the Motor Tax. You do not require a PPS number to do so.
