Hi,
When I come to Ireland I will be going to Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Belfast. For using the bus for intercity travel can I just pay as I get on the bus? Or should I get some kind of pass? I'm only I'm each city a few days
Thanks

Hello Kiara,

That sounds like a great itinerary! Public transport is a comfortable and affordable way to see a lot of our little green island. I'm happy to share some useful information with you so you can plan your upcoming holiday.

If you choose to travel by bus you can buy tickets for each leg of the journey - either online or at the bus station. On our website you can find a lot of information about the different modes of public transport with links to handy websites and apps.

The train is also a great way to travel - in answer to your other post about the Irish Rail Explorer Pass: this is also a good option to explore if you travel up to five days by rail within a 15-day period, as you are planning to do.

I hope this is helpful and that you are looking forward to a great trip - enjoy the views of the Irish landscapes from the comfort of either a bus or a train. Wishing you a wonderful holiday on the island of Ireland.

Kind regards,

Vera
