Travel to Derry June 2023

Need help planning trip, focused on Derry where my great great grandfather was born Oct 1759, in County Derry, was catholic, have wife and kids info for him. Suggestions where those recs may be? Much to search I am sure.
Also want to see Hardcastle Crags, West Yorkshire, England. I believe travel there would be flying to Leeds, believe $100 fare...

You could always ask on our Family History Section with whatever information you have on your great, great Grandfather. I would also recommend contacting the North of Ireland Family History Society, they have a Foyle branch that may have records, and they also have access to grave records.

We have an Archive & Genealogy service within Derry & Strabane Council; who may be able to help you with some research prior to your trip. 

Our local genealogist is called Brian Mitchell who you could reach out to at genealogy@derrystrabane.com. 

Roots Ireland  is also a great site with an extensive database which you can search by county; and so may be a good starting point for you.
