Hi, what if I live in Italy with regular documents and I could visit UE Schengen countries? Can I go to South Ireland?

Hi Michelle!

Thanks for your question.

If you want to visit the Republic of Ireland, you may need a visa, depending on your citizenship. Here you'll find a handy guide that lists the countries that do and don't require visas to visit. However, to learn more about Visa and passport information, please have a look at our page about travel documents.

Lastly, I recommend that you also reach out to your local Irish Embassy/Consulate prior to visiting the Republic of Ireland, and your local British Embassy/High Commission or Consular Office, should you wish to visit Northern Ireland.

If you have any additional questions, or you're looking for tips about what to see and do in Ireland, please let me know.
