Hi Joseph,
Thanks for joining us here with your question about a self-driving tour of
Northern Ireland! We would like to suggest that you have a look at our
travel operators page where you will find several operators who would be able to organize your road trip including car rental, accommodation, and possibly air travel as well although most will exclude the air travel as there are so many different options of departure location.
There is a
flight search page on our website to find providers by entering your departure and chosen arrival airport on the island of Ireland. Dublin is probably the best airport to arrive in as it's a short 2-hour drive up to
Belfast. The tour companies will organize all of the insurance, accommodation, and trip ideas for you but it is also possible to make a more bespoke trip to suit your needs.
There are also some local companies that can help with self-guided tours.
Butlers, and
Discovering Ireland Vacations are two such companies and well worth getting in contact with to see how they can help you.
July is a great time to visit as our days are still nice and long allowing you to see as much as possible and make it to the next location in the light! The
Causeway Coast has plenty to offer and lots of great attractions to visit and it is said that the
Causeway Coastal Route is one of the best driving routes too.
What would you like to see and do during your time with us or are you looking for a ready-made plan?
