About 35 years ago I visited Ireland with two friends.  One of our activities was going on a short escorted horse ride through some woods.  That trail led us to a small tea house where we stopped and had some tea and pastries before returning to our starting point.

For some reason I think this activity was at or near Muckross House in Killarney, County Kerry.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?  I have done multiple searches online to no avail.

Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello Donna,

Thanks for taking the time to join us with your memory of your visit so long ago!

It sounds like it is Deenagh Lodge Tea Rooms in Killarney National Park using the Killarney Stables for the horses. If you didn't ride yourself, then one of the Jaunty cart rides. 🐎

Hopefully, this will be the answer to your searches.

What else can you remember from your time with us?
