We (family of 5, 3 adults 2 children) will be traveling throughout Ireland from June 6th until the 12th. My wife's birthday is June 7th and are planning on visiting the Aran Islands that day. We wanted to rent bikes, but I was wondering if any of the bike rental services have bikes with rider carriages? Our 2 children, both 10 years, can bike, but are not good at it. We were hoping to rent a bike that we can passenger them in. Thank you!

Many thanks to Paula for her kind offer and link to their website, a wonderful resource for anyone wanting to visit the Aran Islands and some of the Wild Atlantic Way locations!

Richard, your enthusiasm is infectious too. 💚

Emit, how wonderful to hear that you are planning to celebrate your wife's birthday with a visit to the Aran Islands! 🥰

We would like to suggest, in addition to checking out the link above, that you have a look at some of the bike rental companies on Inishmore such as Aran Bike Hire, Inish Mór Bike Hire, and Rainbow Bike Hire. They will be best placed to advise you on the bikes and accessories that they have for rental. It is a popular activity on the islands, a great way to get around and see as much as you can. 🚲

Will this be a first time visit over to see us?

Hi Emit
Just to add to what Martin posted. All the bike hire options he mentioned have bike and buggy options or a bike and tag along option. The bike and tag along option might be suitable for your needs.  Cycling is one of the most popular ways of getting around but there are also some companies that offer bus tours or private tours.
A relatively new experience which is becoming popular is the Aran Off Road Experience that takes you off the beaten track on the island.
Another enjoyable experience is the Aran Food Tours

Let us know if you have any other queries.
Regards
Paula

Thank you Martin and Paula! Martin, this will be our first time visiting Ireland. We are beyond excited! We wanted to take this opportunity to see for ourselves and kids how much the country has to offer. I think visiting the Aran Islands is a nice addition besides Dublin, Galway, and Cork. We are renting a car and will be driving along the west side of the country before ending our trip with a few days in Dublin.
Paula, I never knew there was a food tour! Thank you for letting me know about that. This will be high up on our list, to try all the food!

Enjoy the planning and let me know if you need any more advice. Cork City and surrounding country side is quite famous for it's food scene as well. In Galway City there is a food tour as well but that might be more suited to the adults.
