Self-catering accomodation December

Hello

We are a family of 4 with 2 boys age 15 and 12 and we are planning a trip to Dublin from 26th December until 2nd January.
We would love to stay in a self-catering accommodation near the city centre or at least not to far out so we can easily take a bus of train to get around. We are planning to fly, so we wouldn't have our own car.
Can you help us find a lovely stay for that time of year? :-)

How nice that you'll be spending the holidays with us! Dublin can be quite popular during this time, so it' good that you are planning ahead. :) Do you already have plans to ring in the new year and spend the week you have with us? 

We have a handy search tool to find self catering accommodation near Dublin (at the bottom of the page). The Let's Go Self Catering website is also a great place to look.

As for public transport, most of the Dublin area is well connected with busses, trams (LUAS) and commuter train (DART). More info can be found here.
