Visit with group 10 Dublin - Galway

we want to make a trip to Ireland and visit Galway and Dublin
+- 10 persons  

arriving in Dublin en directly take train to Galway 
staying dear 3 nights 
by train back to Dublin - there also 3 nights 
and flying back to Belgium

any ideas for hotels Galway -Dublin (not to fancy - we like more hotels with Irish character 
railways way-back

To find suitable holiday homes for your party, I recommend this accommodation finder. In the middle of the page, you'll see a green button saying "Show filters". Here, you can select several filters to refine your search, such as accommodation type. On the left-hand side, you can also select your destination.

Many visitors to our island enjoy staying in Bed & Breakfast accommodation which might be considered "typical" holiday accommodation over here. Usually, these include breakfast and offer the wonderful opportunity to get in touch with your local hosts, who love to share tips and recommendations in the area. Should this sound interesting to you, you could select the filter 'B&Bs' in the accommodation finder, or try this B&B-specific website. 🏡

As for your train journeys between Dublin and Galway, the easiest way to check for timetables and buy tickets is to use the journey planner on the Irish Rail website. Your departure/arrival train station in Dublin would be 'Dublin Heuston'. Please note that the train does not depart from Dublin Airport. You would need to take the local public bus or a shuttle bus into the city centre. The most convenient shuttle service at the moment would be DublinExpress, as it takes you directly from Dublin Airport to Dublin Heuston station. 🚂

Alternatively, you could take a direct bus from Dublin Airport to Galway. You would save time by not having to travel into the city centre. This journey planner can help you research a bus connection. We'll be happy to guide you further should you have any questions about the different bus companies or the booking process. 🚌

Due to the size of your group, I would recommend that you book both accommodation and transport well in advance to guarantee availability.
