Hi there!

How you want to explore Ireland is up to you: a multi-day tour, a road-trip or explore cities DIY with the inclusion of day trips... the possibilities are endless! If you are considering exploring the island independently, investing in one of the visitor passes available could be worth it, especially if you plan to spend time in cities, use public transport or visit a few selected attractions.

Here, we'll take a closer look at some of the most popular options :

1. Dublin Pass by Go City: The Dublin Pass is your key to make the most of your time in Dublin (litterally). With this pass, you gain access to over 30 top attractions, including the Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College, and Dublin Castle. Plus, it provides unlimited rides on the hop-on-hop-off buses, making it a convenient way to explore the city at your own pace. They have two options, one with selected and another with unlimited attractions. Consider what you’d like to see and do to see if it’s worth it for you.

2. DoDublin Pass: While not as extensive as the Dublin Pass, the DoDublin Pass is still a solid option. It covers not only transportation but also a selection of top attractions, such as the Little Museum of Dublin, Christ Church Cathedral, and EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum. If you just need transportation, consider getting a Leap Visitor Card instead.

3. Belfast Visitor Pass: For a trip to the Northern Irish capital, the Belfast Visitor Pass is your ticket to a memorable experience. This pass offers discounted access to key sites like Titanic Belfast, the Ulster Museum, and Crumlin Road Gaol, along with unlimited travel on Translink buses and trains.

During my travels in Ireland, I found visitor passes to be a fantastic way to save both time and money while exploring! ☘️

These passes made it so easy for me to dive into the country’s history, landmarks, and culture without worrying about individual entry fees or transport hassles.

The Heritage Ireland Card was a personal favorite - it gave me access to iconic sites like the Rock of Cashel and Kilmainham Gaol, offering a deeper connection to Ireland's rich history. In the cities, passes like the Dublin Pass and Belfast Visitor Pass made getting around so convenient, with unlimited public transport and entry to major attractions.

Exploring Northern Ireland was even better with the National Trust Touring Pass, which opened up the Giant's Causeway and other breathtaking locations. As a Titanic enthusiast, the White Star Premium Pass was a highlight, letting me experience Titanic Belfast and the surrounding sites.

Using these passes really streamlined my trip, making everything feel seamless and more affordable.

If you’re planning a visit, they’re definitely worth looking into! Have you tried any of these? 🎫
